Direct purchase is exactly what it sounds like. Q Media is hired to develop content and/or provide a delivery solution and the client pays in full. This option is often selected by organizations whose projects are grant or sponsorship funded. Regarding creative content, once the final payment is received the production copyrights transfer to the client.
LEASE / LICENSING
A Q Media lease is essentially structured payments over time, generally 24-, 36- or 48 months. It may include equipment (lease) and/or content (license), or either separately. Equipment provided under a lease arrangement includes the service agreement. The client must meet minimum financial requirements. At the end of the lease, per mutual agreement, creative copyrights may transfer to the client or remain the property of Q Media.
REVENUE SHARE – OPTIONAL DISTRIBUTION
Under an optional revenue share, the tour is offered to the client’s visitors as a separate fee and Q Media and the client split the revenue from the tour’s sales/rentals. Q Media provides the “what” the visitor is listening to and the “how” they’re listening to it — equipment, smartphone applications, and/or creative content production services.
A very flexible option, we can structure an agreement that meets your financial, operational, and interpretive goals with minimal, or sometimes no, upfront costs to the organization. It also offers the client Q Media’s full creative production services and the highest production values, while paying for it directly through sales of the tour.
REVENUE SHARE – UNIVERSAL DISTRIBUTION
Under a universal distribution system, the tour is available to all visitors either for free or as part of the admission price. Q Media is then paid a small fee based on the site’s actual attendance. Like the optional system, Q Media can provide equipment, smartphone applications, and/or creative content services.
The universal revenue share option is an excellent choice for clients whose primary goal is to make sure their message reaches the most visitors, with minimal upfront costs to the organization.
